SPOILER-CONTROLLED
Sandustry Puzzle Solutions
A safe framework for reading ancient rooms, choosing tools and separating hints from full solutions.
Inspect inputs, outputs, hazards and buildable surfaces before changing a puzzle room. Some structures require later tools or materials. If trapped, use the pause-menu unstuck option and return after progression.
- First step
- Read the room
- If blocked
- Return later
- If trapped
- Use unstuck
Use three spoiler levels
Offer a light hint, then the key mechanic, then a hidden full solution. This keeps discovery intact while still helping players who are genuinely stuck.
Verify every solution
Community posts show water targets, buildable yellow squares, fire/rocket clues and circuit triggers. Reproduce each room in the current build before turning a reply into a walkthrough.
Hint ladder for an unfamiliar room
Start with the environment, not a guessed recipe. A colored target or contained basin suggests delivering a material; yellow buildable squares suggest placing a structure; fire or rocket imagery suggests returning with the matching tool; wires or circuit elements suggest following the activation order. Test only one interpretation at a time and preserve a route out. If the room cannot react to any currently available tool, mark it and return after progression rather than destroying the evidence.
- Light hint: identify the only unusual target or surface.
- Mechanic hint: match that target to a material, tool or build action.
- Action hint: change one input and observe the room response.
- Recovery: use pause-menu unstuck if the player becomes trapped.
Solve without losing the room state
Before moving liquids or breaking terrain, take a screenshot that includes the entire mechanism. Separate movable material from decorative structure and note any path that leads back to the entrance. Use a small input first: one controlled stream, one placed machine or one tool action. A successful response should change a visible circuit, door, target or reward state. If nothing changes, restore the test area where possible and try the next evidence-backed interpretation instead of flooding the room.
