Sandustry Wet Seed Guide
Create Wet Seeds, separate them from dry Seeds and stop them floating away from the planter line.
A Seed touching Water becomes a Wet Seed. Wet Seeds have the same density as Water, can remain suspended, and grow into Flowers when they touch a Planter Box.

Why seed washers stall
Wet Seeds are less dense than dry Seeds and can float in Water. Use the density difference, enclosed water cells and a Clearing Frame or controlled outlet to keep them moving.
Next production stage
Deliver Wet Seeds onto Planter Boxes. Flowers then produce Gold and Amethelis, which should have separate collection and processing paths.
Separate by behavior, not only appearance
Wet Seeds and dry Seeds can look similar in a busy water cell, but their movement differs. Use a short enclosed pool to observe which material remains suspended and which settles, then place the controlled outlet at the height that captures the desired state. Keep the test cell small: a large volume stores hidden seeds and makes timing inconsistent. Once the split is reliable, connect only the Wet Seed exit to the Planter Box line.
- Introduce a small mixed batch.
- Watch the resting height of each seed state.
- Use a Clearing Frame or narrow outlet to remove Wet Seeds.
- Return dry Seeds to a separate route instead of mixing them back in.
Prevent planter starvation and flooding
A planter needs a steady contact with Wet Seeds, not a deep pool above it. Add a small buffer that shows whether production is starved or blocked, and keep excess Water out of the flower-output area. If seeds stop arriving, check the washer and floating outlet first; if they pile up above the box, clear foreign solids and verify the contact face. Balance the feed before copying more Planter Boxes so every added machine has a dependable input.
